These Terms of Service (these "Terms") are a contract between you and Terrain Mentorship Collective, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("the Collective," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to every product the Collective offers, including each membership tier, live classroom event, course, workshop, deep dive, and on-demand educational product (each, an "Offering"). All Offerings are delivered online.
By checking the box presented at checkout, by completing your purchase, or by accessing an Offering, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or access the Offering. Your obligations continue for as long as you hold access to any Offering and, where stated, after that access ends.
1. About the Collective and These Terms
Terrain Mentorship Collective is a professional development community and education provider for non-prescribing practitioners who support people navigating cancer, autoimmunity, and complex chronic illness. Across its Offerings, the Collective builds skill, judgment, and confidence in real case application through mentorship, discussion, shared materials, and live and recorded sessions.
The Collective is a protected learning environment. Much of its value comes from candor... the willingness of participants to bring forward real questions, real cases, and real uncertainty. That candor is only possible when everyone holds the same standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and respect. These Terms set those standards and the protections that keep them enforceable, and they apply to every Offering you take part in.
2. Confidentiality of the Community
Where an Offering includes community spaces, group discussions, or live sessions, the information shared within them is confidential. You may not share it outside the group with clients, colleagues, organizations, or third parties without express written permission from the Collective.
This applies to discussions, questions, case material, participant contributions, mentor guidance, recordings, templates, and anything else exchanged inside an Offering, in any format and any medium.
Your obligation of confidentiality continues after your access ends.
3. Protection of Client Information
When you take part in case discussions, the cases involved often concern people navigating serious illness. Their privacy is not negotiable.
When you bring a case forward, you must de-identify it first. Remove names, contact details, dates of birth, specific locations, employer or family identifiers, and any other detail that could reasonably identify the person, alone or in combination. Do not share documents, images, lab reports, or records that carry identifying information.
You are responsible for having the appropriate consent and authority to discuss any client situation, even in de-identified form, consistent with your own client agreements and any privacy obligations that apply to your practice.
4. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials
The frameworks, curriculum, materials, recordings, templates, written content, and discussions provided through any Offering are the intellectual property of the Collective and its founders, including the Whole Terrain Systems Analysis™ and Deep Nourishment™ frameworks.
They are provided to you for your own professional development, and you may apply what you learn in your individual practice with your own clients. You may not copy, distribute, teach, publish, repackage, resell, or share these materials with anyone who is not authorized by the Collective to receive them, in any medium, without express written permission from the Collective.
Your access is a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to use these materials while your access is active. It does not transfer ownership of any framework, material, or content to you, and it does not give you the right to present yourself as a source, author, or authorized teacher of these frameworks.
Anything you contribute to discussions remains subject to these Terms. By contributing, you allow the Collective and other participants to engage with your contribution inside the relevant Offering for the purposes of the community.
5. Recording and Reuse of Sessions
Where your Offering includes live sessions, those sessions are recorded. By participating, you consent to being recorded, including your voice, image, name, and contributions, and you agree that the Collective may make those recordings available to participants and may use them in current and future Offerings.
6. No Use of Access to Gather Information for Others
You may not use your participation in any Offering to gather information, materials, or methods on behalf of another practitioner, clinic, organization, or individual who is not authorized by the Collective to receive them. Your access is personal to you. It is not a channel for anyone outside the Collective to reach what happens inside it.
7. Professional Conduct and Respectful Communication
You agree to engage with integrity, professionalism, and respect, even when opinions differ. Disagreement is welcome, and it is often where the best learning happens. Disrespect is not.
This means no harassment, no discrimination, no personal attacks, and no disparagement of other participants, mentors, or the wider field inside Collective spaces, discussions, and live sessions. It also means representing your own training, credentials, and experience honestly.
8. Scope of Practice
Participation in an Offering is education for non-prescribing practitioners. It is not medical training, and it does not license, certify, or authorize you to diagnose, treat, prevent, cure, or prescribe.
You agree to practice within the scope of your own credentials and the laws that apply where you and your clients are located. You will not represent your participation in an Offering, or the frameworks taught within it, as authorization to act outside that scope. You are responsible for using scope-appropriate language with your own clients, for positioning your clients as decision-makers alongside their medical teams, and for maintaining the disclaimers and collaborative-care framing your own practice requires.
9. Fees, Billing, and Access
The price of each Offering, its billing frequency, the length of access it includes, and what it contains are set out at the point of purchase (your "Order"). Your Order is part of these Terms. Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor, and by enrolling you authorize the Collective to charge your payment method for the amounts shown in your Order.
If your Offering is a recurring membership, it renews automatically at the interval shown in your Order until you cancel. You may cancel at any time by emailing Heather at [email protected], and your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your access to the membership and its spaces, materials, and recordings ends at the close of the period you have paid for.
If your Offering is a one-time purchase, such as a live event or an on-demand product, you pay once for the access described in your Order, and no further charges apply for that Offering.
All fees are non-refundable. This applies to every Offering, including memberships, live events, and on-demand products, except where the law requires a refund.
We may change the price or terms of an Offering with 30 days notice for renewing memberships. A change never affects an Offering you have already purchased. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
10. Medical Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Collective provides professional education and mentorship. It does not provide medical advice, and nothing shared within an Offering is a substitute for diagnosis or care from a licensed medical provider, for you or for anyone you work with.
You are solely responsible for how you apply what you learn in your own practice and with your own clients. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Collective, its founders, mentors, and contributors are not liable for any decision, action, or outcome arising from your use of the education, materials, or discussions of any Offering.
You are responsible for maintaining any professional liability coverage appropriate to your practice.
11. Consequences of Violating These Terms
We protect this environment actively.
Serious violations result in immediate removal from the Offering and any related Collective spaces, and revocation of your access, without refund. Serious violations include breaching confidentiality, misusing or distributing materials or intellectual property, using your access to gather information for someone outside the Collective, and harassment or discrimination.
For lower-level conduct concerns, we may, at the discretion of the Collective's founders, issue a warning and a clear path to remediation before any removal. Choosing to offer that step in one situation does not limit our right to remove a participant immediately in another.
Removal for a violation does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid. Obligations that are meant to continue, including confidentiality and intellectual property, survive the end of your access however it ends.
12. The Collective Pledge (Membership)
Membership in the Collective carries a shared standard that reaches beyond these Terms. When you join a membership Offering, you affirm the Collective Pledge:
As a Terrain Mentorship Collective member, I pledge to show up with integrity, humility, and curiosity, to honor confidentiality, to respect differing perspectives, and to protect the trust of this community. I am not simply joining a membership. I am becoming part of a professional community committed to the highest caliber of ethics, client advocacy, and stewardship of shared knowledge.
The Pledge expresses the spirit of this community. The standards set out in these Terms remain the enforceable requirements.
13. General Terms
These Terms, together with your Order and any terms presented at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and the Collective regarding the Offerings you purchase. They are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our choice not to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else. We may update these Terms and will post the current version on our website, with the "Last updated" date showing when. Continued purchase or participation after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
